This policy describes how Baya Skin collects, uses, and protects information you share with us when you visit this site, purchase a product, or subscribe to The Baya Journal.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number you provide, along with the items you buy. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. When you contact us, we keep the contents of your message so we can respond and follow up.
We also collect basic technical information automatically: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type. This is standard analytics data used to understand how the site is performing.
How we use it
We use your information to fulfill orders, respond to enquiries, send the emails you've asked for, prevent fraud, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers we rely on to run the business: our payment processor, shipping carriers, our email platform, and our analytics provider. Each receives only what they need to do their job. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every newsletter. Email hello@baya.skin to make a request.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for essential site functionality (e.g. remembering items in your bag) and for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features of the site may stop working if you do.

Use of the site
You may browse, read, and shop. You may not copy, scrape, or republish the content in ways that misrepresent Baya Skin, infringe on our intellectual property, or break applicable law.
Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept the order once payment clears and we've confirmed availability. Prices are shown in USD and include applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect fraud or a pricing error.
Shipping, returns, and refunds

Product information
We work to describe our products accurately. Colour, texture, and individual experience can vary. Baya Skin products are cosmetics, not medical treatments — nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a skin condition, allergy, or are pregnant, consult a clinician before use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Baya Skin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site. We design and build with the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines in mind: meaningful headings, sufficient colour contrast, descriptive link text, keyboard-operable navigation, and alt text on meaningful images.
Known limitations
Some third-party content (e.g. embedded forms or analytics widgets) may not fully meet these standards. We work with our vendors when we find issues.

If a part of the site is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard, or any assistive technology, please tell us. Email hello@baya.skin with the page, your browser/assistive tech, and what went wrong. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix issues as quickly as we can.
